This explains what we collect through this website, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do about it. Captivated Films LLC is responsible for it.

01What we collect
When you contact us: your name, email address, phone number, your wedding or event date and venue, and whatever you tell us about the film you're after. If you're a photographer or studio inquiring about working with us, that includes your business details.
Automatically: our web server keeps standard logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. That's ordinary server housekeeping and security, not profiling.
That's all.
02What we don't do
We don't run Google Analytics or any other analytics service on this site. There are no advertising cookies, no Meta or Google pixels, no session recording, and no third parties following you from our pages to anyone else's.
Video embedded on our pages is delivered by the company that hosts it, and that player may set its own cookies when you press play. We don't control that and we don't receive tracking data from it.
Because we don't track you, there is nothing for a "Do Not Track" browser signal to switch off, and we don't respond to those signals differently. California law asks us to say so plainly, so we have.
03Why we have it
To answer you. To quote your production, plan it, and stay in touch about it. To keep our own records of who asked us for what.
04Who sees it, and one thing worth knowing
Captivated Films is the video side of the same family of businesses as Simply Captivating Productions, Inc. Inquiries from this site are delivered through a shared inquiry system operated by Simply Captivating Productions, Inc., and sent on to us by our email provider. We're telling you that because your message technically passes through an affiliated company's system, and you should know that rather than discover it.
Your inquiry reaches our team. Beyond that: our accountant, our lawyers if we ever need them, anyone we're legally required to give it to, and a buyer if the business is ever sold.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.
05Marketing
If you ask us to keep you posted, or you become a client, we may email you about our work and offers. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and it works. We don't add people who never asked.
06How long we keep it
Inquiries: we keep them while we're talking, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you come back to us. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
If you become a client, your production records are governed by the agreement you sign with us.
07Keeping it safe
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, as Florida law requires. The site runs over an encrypted connection, and access is limited to people who need it.
If a breach ever affects your personal information, Florida law requires us to notify you within 30 days of determining it happened, and to notify the Florida Department of Legal Affairs where it reaches 500 Florida residents. We will.
08What you can ask us for
Email us for a copy of what we hold about you, a correction, deletion, or a stop to marketing. We'll take care of it.
09Children
This site is aimed at adults planning weddings, events, and productions. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 through it. We film quinceañeras and events involving minors often — that's arranged by their parent or guardian.
10Where your information lives
We're a Florida business and we store information in the United States.
11Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above and post the new version here.
